A bisque head lady doll with bisque shoulder plate, blue enamel eyes has blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accented lips, pierce ears, mohair wig, wooden legs, carton torso, metal hands covered with leather is clasping the handle of a wooden carriage with paper covered sides,and two spoked wheels.
Inside the carriage are two tiny mignonette with hand painted eyes, bisque hands and legs, cloth body (one doll has restored bisque foot).

Condition: The doll in very good condition, working mechanism.
France, Vichy,circa 1875.
When key is wound, the doll is moves her legs forward and back as though walking, and propels the carriage forward.

Wonderful and rare mechanical toy presents a charming scene, the doll wearing original peach silk dress, she is with beautiful faces.
7 1/2" (19 cm.) length of the toy, 9" (23cm) tall lady doll.
